TOXICITY WARNING: Malachite has high levels of copper which when handled in raw form can be toxic. The copper content can be drawn out in water. If wanting to make a crystal elixir use the indirect method for preparation.
If you find working with Malachite on its own is intense you can pair it with other crystals that have a calming effect such as Rose Quartz or Smoky Quartz. Some may find that when work with Malachite they experience heart palpitations due to its intensity. Remove it immediately if this happens for you and use either Rose or Smokey Quartz, placing it on your chest.
It is important that after each time you work with your Malachite stone you cleanse it. You can do this by placing it on a clear quartz cluster out in the sun. If you do not have a clear quartz cluster just placing it out in the sun with the intent for it to be cleansed will also work, it may just need to be out there a little longer.
